Welcome! I am a Ph.D. candidate in political science at the University of California, Merced. I also have a master’s degree in history from California State University, Stanislaus. I study American politics with a focus on judicial politics and public opinion. My dissertation examines the use of amicus curiae briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court’s majority opinions and how the public responds to this use. My publications to date address public support for constitutional rights.
